Brittany & Zach // Kansas City Wedding
Remember these love birds from a few months back? Well they're back and in just five weeks managed to pull of an incredibly wonderful wedding! Getting married outside the first weekend in November can be a risky proposition in the mid-west, but these two lucked out with the perfect autumn day complete with tractor rides to the secret glen where they said their "I-do's".
The wedding of Brittany and Zach was truly a beautiful family affair. From the fact that they were married on Zach's parent's property on an altar constructed by the bride's father decorated with flowers arranged by the bride's aunt - well. You get the picture! There were too almost many wonderful and sweet touches throughout the day to remember them all.
From following the bride around as she got ready for the ceremony (in a dress she altered herself) in the house she and her groom would share after the wedding, to the richly meaningful ceremony (officiated by the bride's brother), to the dance-filled reception (DJ'd by the groom's brother) there was never a dull moment! I especially loved the hot chocolate bar (brewed by the bride's sisters) and all the yummy food (cooked by the bride's father) eaten on tables constructed by the groom himself! It was truly a hands-on experience for all parties involved which only made the intimate day all the more special.
I felt so honored to be a part of it and cannot wait for you all to see some of my favorite parts of their beautiful day. Here's to the next 80-years of Brittany and Zach tackling the world together!
