So I love to travel just a little tiny bit more than I hate getting on airplanes.
And let me tell you. I HATE getting on planes. I hate every second I am on airplanes. I want to be off as soon as possible and have had to medicate myself more than once to get through a flight because the panic and claustrophobia are real, folks.
One time I told a friend I took sedatives on most flights that would take our a baby elephant and they asked me: “Well what is the plane crashes?”
And I was like: “Yes. Exactly. If the plane crashes I want to be OUT. I want no part of it. There is no universe where I survive a plane crash.”
That being said: I still get on planes a lot. I do not believe in letting fear control you choices so I would be danged if I didn’t go to all the amazing places I want to see just because my brain spins wild fantasies about all the ways I am going to die and that turbulence makes me vomit. That journey is worth the destination every single time!
That is why I was really stoked to get this bag! I’m always searching for the perfect “personal item” sized bag that will fit my essentials + laptop but not be too bulky. And also it has to be durable, and cute, and versatile, and not be over a hundred dollars (because lets be real, I am so rough on my stuff I have to buy better than target but cannot commit to the upkeep of designer brands). Not too demanding, right?
Well I’ve searched with varying intensity for awhile to find a bag that would fit my needs. Ideally it would also double as a purse if (as was the case in pre-COVID era) I was traveling frequently and I did not want to switch back and forth between bags for one a few weeks at a time. So when this bag came in the mail and I was able to open it and give it a whirl - I quickly felt like I may have found a really good match.
