The Days // Kansas City Family Portraits

It was a hot, sticky evening in the midwest when I met with the adorable Day family. The littlest Day had not had the best nap and was exercising every bit of her two year old privileges during our session, but even she rocked it (she loved watching the herons!) and fruit snacks (way to go, mom!) definitely helped to keep her in a good mood. All in all, the session was a smash! I had such a blast with these humans and cannot wait to shoot with them again soon.

Also those of you looking for ideas how to coordinate family photo outfits without being too matchy - take note. See how even though the girls are wearing the same dress and hair bow the older daughter is set apart with a sweet little necklace and how the colors in the mom's shirt draws together all of the colors the family is wearing? A+++ work here!
